About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to join our RTA OIC Portal team. You will manage a high-volume caseload of Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal cases, ensuring efficient progression and achieving the best outcomes for clients.

This is a hybrid role with only 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home, offering flexibility while working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle RTA OIC Portal claims from inception through to settlement or court proceedings.
  • Assess liability and quantum, review medical reports, and research case law to support claims.
  • Draft schedules of special damages and evaluate compensation for pain, suffering, and loss of amenity.
  • Negotiate settlements with third parties to maximize client compensation.
  • Identify litigation opportunities and navigate the Small Claims Litigation Process when necessary.
  • Use a case management system to maintain client communication and provide high-quality service.
  • Meet performance targets in a high-volume claims environment.

Strong liability assessment and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in a target-driven legal environment while maintaining high client care standards.

Proficiency in case management systems, Word, and Excel.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

βž• Working towards a Chartered Legal Executive qualification or other legal accreditation.

Litigation experience is beneficial but not essential.

A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to career development in personal injury law.
