About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead (Volume Claims) to support our OIC and Fast Track RTA Fee Earners. You will play a critical role in technical supervision, providing guidance, training, and oversight of pre- and post-litigated cases up to Β£25K.

This is a hybrid role with only 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home, offering flexibility while leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical referral point for OIC and Fast Track litigated and non-litigated cases.
  • Ensure complex cases are identified and referred to the appropriate liaison.
  • Conduct file reviews and provide technical supervision to maintain high legal standards.
  • Develop and implement litigation tactics to optimize case outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and training to Fee Earners, identifying skills gaps and mentoring team members.
  • Work closely with management to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including Counsel and Costs Draftsmen, as needed.
  • Support the cost process and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and assist in implementing business-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

βœ” Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (4+ years PQE preferred).

Strong experience in litigated personal injury claims, including OIC, Fast Track, Part 7 & Part 8 claims.

Proven ability to mentor, supervise, and coach legal professionals.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to case strategy.

Strong regulatory knowledge and experience in handling customer complaints.

Ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining high client care standards.

Proficiency in case management systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
