Financial Mis Selling Team Leader-(Solicitor/Fee Earner)
Our client, a well regarded private legal practice based in the heart of Manchester, are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Mis-selling Solicitor / fee earner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead a team of legal professionals in handling financial miss-selling claims, ensuring high standards of client service and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of solicitors and paralegals handling financial miss-selling claims.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficient case progression and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on complex financial miss-selling cases.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure targets are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and client satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry practices.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance and case outcomes to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial miss-selling or related areas.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and miss-selling practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a high caseload.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Consumer Credit Act
