Financial Mis Selling Team Leader-(Solicitor/Fee Earner)

 

 

Our client, a well regarded private legal practice based in the heart of Manchester, are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Mis-selling Solicitor / fee earner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead a team of legal professionals in handling financial miss-selling claims, ensuring high standards of client service and case management.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of solicitors and paralegals handling financial miss-selling claims.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficient case progression and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on complex financial miss-selling cases.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure targets are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry practices.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance and case outcomes to senior management.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial miss-selling or related areas.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and miss-selling practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a high caseload.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Consumer Credit Act
