About the Role
A specialist legal practice in Manchester is looking for a Pre-Litigation Fee Earner to join its growing Housing Disrepair team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience managing a legal caseload in housing disrepair.

This role offers flexible hybrid working, with just one day a week in the office and four days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims in the pre-litigation stage
• Draft Letters of Claim and manage protocol correspondence
• Review evidence including disrepair reports and tenancy documentation
• Liaise with clients, landlords, and third parties professionally
• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for litigation when necessary
• Maintain accurate records using the case management system
• Ensure compliance with legal protocols and internal processes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing your own caseload (HDR)
• Understanding of pre-action protocols is beneficial
• Litigation experience is helpful but not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• A commitment to delivering excellent client service
