Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade B or Equivalent) – Leeds/Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade B or equivalent) to join our dynamic and growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a highly skilled legal team that includes professionals accredited by APIL, AvMA, and the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.

The Role:
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will independently manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, ensuring a proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware approach. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to deliver outstanding results and provide exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an individual caseload of clinical negligence claims.
- Provide support and guidance to the team, contributing to proactive case management and progression.
- Ensure effective time recording and case strategy planning with senior team members.
- Identify cases ready for Letter of Claim (LOC), settlement, or service and drive them forward.
- Draft legal documentation, including LOC and letters of instruction.
- Negotiate settlements and litigate claims as required.
- Oversee case documentation and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Offer technical support to junior team members, assisting in their development.

The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years PQE or equivalent experience handling clinical negligence cases
- Strong case management skills with the ability to handle complex claims
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Proclaim, and Excel
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to their development
- A client-focused approach with outstanding client care skills
